C aedmon Hunt '27 went to summer recruitment as an incoming freshman looking for meaningful conversations and relationships. He finally found that when he visited Sigma Chi. "e second I arrived there, I could tell our brotherhood was unmatched." Caedmon was elected as recruitment chairman toward the end of his first semester, which proved to be a busy but rewarding experience. He loved helping the new class grow and form friendships (both with one another and their older brothers) and began seeking more opportunities to make an impact. is year, Caedmon is excited to represent Gamma Sigma on the IFC Executive Board as vice president of recruitment. "is role allows me to showcase the values and brotherhood of our chapter while contributing to the betterment of Greek life as a whole," he said. "It's an honor to be a part of something bigger than myself and to represent such an incredible group of guys." Instead of simply recruiting new Sigma Chi members, Caedmon currently oversees and facilitates the general recruitment process for all Auburn fraternities. He hopes to grow the university's fraternity population and share his amazing experiences with as many college men as possible. "One of my key projects is to collaborate with Camp War Eagle, Auburn's orientation program," he said. "en we can provide more information about recruitment to incoming freshmen, hosting specific recruitment events during their sessions." So far, Caedmon's favorite part of Sigma Chi is simply enjoying the brothers' company as they get to know one another. ose experiences motivated him to get involved, both in the chapter and on campus. He encourages all underclassmen to approach it with an open mind. "Sigma Chi has given me a strong group of brothers and countless opportunities to grow as a leader—IFC has built on those opportunities, helping me grow even further," Caedmon said. "I'm excited for what the rest of the year holds, and I hope my involvement inspires my brothers to get involved and create their own great experiences."
