SIGMA CHI FRATERNITY AT AUBURN UNIVERSITY SPRING 2025 THE AUBURN SIG Inside 2 Lessons Shared by Tom Bell '82 2 Rev. Dr. Joseph Clifford '88 Named Significant Sig 3 Caedmon Hunt '27 Discusses Serving on IFC 4 Congratulations, Graduating Seniors T his semester has been marked by continued growth and shared success within our chapter. Guided by the values of Sigma Chi, our brothers worked with purpose and unity, striving for excellence in every aspect of fraternity life. ACHIEVEMENTS Our chapter welcomed 49 exceptional new members this year. is continued growth highlights the effectiveness of our recruitment efforts and the health of our chapter. Led by Magister Carter Zittrouer '25, these brothers completed the initiation process in the fall and are already making a positive impact within the chapter and the Auburn community. eir early contributions reflect the high caliber of individuals we continue to recruit. ACADEMICS We are proud to recognize our brothers' outstanding academic achievements. We earned a chapter GPA of 3.32, ranking 11th among all fraternities. Additionally, 51 members were named to the dean's list for fall 2024. We aim to continue improving our GPA, expanding academic support resources, and encouraging brothers to reach their highest potential. Upholding strong academic performance will remain a cornerstone of Gamma Sigma's success in the years to come. PHILANTHROPY anks to the dedication and generosity of our brothers, alumni, and community, we raised more than $52,000 through our annual Derby Days event in support of cancer research. We are proud of the positive impact made through this year's Derby Days, and we remain committed to serving national and local causes through our philanthropic efforts. While we continued our long- standing support for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, we also prioritized giving back to the local Auburn community. Donations were extended to both the Spencer Cancer Center and the Sherard Shaw Foundation. CAMPUS INVOLVEMENT Within Auburn's Student Government Association, Anders Wren '27 serves as the assistant director of Freshman Forum for 2025 and Hey Day director for 2024, Luke Livingston '28 as director of videography, Andrew Szymela '27 as director of sustainability, Lanier Bankson '27 as director of athletic initiatives, and Sam Martin '28 as director of student relations. Our brothers also represent Sigma Chi through Camp War Eagle, with Nate Foster '26 serving as a head counselor alongside Anderson Brooks '28, Owen Key '28, and Harris Martin '28. Within the Interfraternity Council, Landon Miller '26 serves on IFC Court, Caedmon Hunt '27 as vice president of recruitment, and Nicholas Meadows '28 as director of risk management. We are proud of the leadership and dedication our brothers display across campus, and we remain committed to making a positive impact in every area we serve.
