When Scottsboro High School wanted
to help their students experience
a day of "adulting," they called on
Redstone's Financial Education team.
ey gave the students a glimpse of
adulthood with hands-on lessons in
budgeting, expenses, and debt.
Adulting in Scottsboro
e Meridianville branch team saw a
way to help children entering foster
care have luggage of their own. e
branch solicited the community and
Redstone employees to donate new or
gently used suitcases or duffle bags for
youth and teens entering foster care
at Harris Home for Children. e team
was thrilled with the response!
And finally, during April's Youth
Month, Cosmo asked his friends to
bring their coins for deposit into the
branch coin machines. (S.T.A.R. Club
members can deposit their coins for
free.) Redstone matched the coin
deposits from our members ages 0 to
17, up to $5,000, and donated that
money to Children's Miracle Network
Hospital affiliates in Huntsville and
Murfreesboro. Cosmo presented each
hospital with a check for $2,500.
