He began his journey as a teller at Redstone's student-run branch, later gaining more experience at the Beltline branch in Decatur. ese roles sparked his passion for finance, sharpened his leadership skills, and boosted his confidence. "Redstone shaped me into who I am today," Brayan says. "I walk into every new opportunity knowing I'm prepared, professional, and capable." Redstone's student-run branch introduces high school students to banking while building essential life skills. For Brayan, it was the perfect fit. He learned financial operations and connected with Redstone professionals like Chad Shull and Ryan Barnes, who inspired his goal of becoming a financial analyst or advisor. "I'm so grateful for everyone at Redstone," Brayan shares. "ey gave me advice, answered my questions, and made me feel like I belonged." is fall, Brayan heads to the University of Alabama's Honors College to study finance, and during the summer, he'll work full-time at Alabama Credit Union. He will also participate in the Culverhouse Business Bridge Program, which supports underrepresented students at UA's business school. He credits Redstone for helping to make it all possible. To future student tellers, Brayan shares, "Take every opportunity seriously. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. e growth you're looking for happens right outside it." He expresses heartfelt thanks to the teachers at Austin High, the Beltline branch managers, and Redstone's finance teams. He says that their mentorship made all the difference. As Brayan enters this next chapter, he carries deep gratitude and a promise to pay it forward.
