It's a place where Main Street splits two states and four counties: Limestone and Madison on the Alabama side, and Giles and Lincoln over in Tennessee. It's a town with not one but two mayors and one big heart that keeps everything running smoothly. As you wander through town, you can't help but reflect on its history. Ardmore got its start back in 1911 as a railroad stop called Austin, named after a local store owner who helped the railroad crews work their way between Nashville and Decatur. A few years later, it was renamed "Ardmore" by another railroad company, borrowing the name from a town in Pennsylvania. Speaking of rich history, Ardmore High School is turning 110 years old this year! at's quite a milestone for one of the two schools that call Ardmore home. It's the kind of school where generations of families have walked through the halls, cheered on the Tigers, and grown up together. at same sense of community and tradition is what Redstone hopes to be part of as we open our first drive-thru teller branch in Ardmore early next year. Designed for convenience and personal service, the new drive-thru will allow members to speak directly with a teller and handle everyday banking tasks like deposits and withdrawals, all without leaving their cars.
