Keep an eye out for email updates on tickets and pairings. Thank you to Chris Holmquist '16 and Nick Pfrang '17 for their continued leadership as event co-chairmen. Work Week will be on August 18-22 this year, with the fall 2025 semester kicking off for undergraduates on Monday, August 25. Homecoming is also set for October 25 vs. BYU, with an informal dinner planned the night before in Des Moines. We'll share more details via our Facebook page and email. Looking beyond campus, the Phi Kappa Theta National Convention will be held August 1-3 in New Orleans. Visit phikaps.org/con25 for more information. Mark Your Calendars! A huge thank-you to Ty Muller '18 for his outstanding leadership as Interim President of the Building Corporation during our search for a long-term candidate. We're excited to announce that Ed Larson '84 has officially stepped into the role. Congratulations, Ed! We're also pleased to welcome Jack Steen '23 as our new Treasurer. Work on the chapter house continues, with study room enhancements currently underway and on track for completion in 2025. We're also happy to report that the permit for the new Phi Kap sign has been approved. Thank you to Chris Holmquist '16 and Alex Davis '08 for leading this effort. Funding for the sign was made possible through the Men of Character Fund, commemorating Iowa Xi's Centennial Celebration in 2024. The sign and surrounding landscaping—provided by Country Landscapes of Ames—are scheduled for installation later this year. Looking ahead, Dan Duffy '84 will lead the charge on planning a major renovation and capital campaign for the house. The Planning Committee continues its important work developing strategies to bring this vision to life. We're also grateful to Paul and Ann Gaffney and Bill Fleischacker '75 for their ongoing support with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the chapter house. Fraternally, Manni Balignasay '01 Alumni Chapter President Strengthening Our Foundation for 2025-26 and Beyond Update from Our Building Corporation
