The owners of this beautiful custom home
sought to extend their rustic/modern main
floor style into the unfinished basement.
Their individual styles needed to blend
within an open floor plan that could be
functionally partitioned, showcasing a
theater room with a "Starry Night" ceiling, a
modern speakeasy, a bar, and a wine
cellar — all featuring wood slat walls and
LED backlit accents. Challenging late-stage
scope changes contributed to the project's
overall success, including the addition of
color-changing LED lights and a control
interface for low-voltage illumination. The
owners appreciate the various textures and
patterns that came together to create their
personalized vision.

The Speakeasy Lodge is a transform-
ative escape, inviting guests to relax

northern Wisconsin, this once-unused
attic has been reimagined into a
482-square-foot garage cozy retreat
perfect for game days, late-night
conversations, or quiet moments of
relaxation. Designed to evoke the
feeling of stepping into a hidden world,
every detail blends functionality with
thoughtful luxury. The result is a space
that offers a timeless sense of comfort
and an unforgettable experience for all
