L ucas Sjostrom #1645, president of our Lambda Alumni Corporation, received the Grand President's Award from the national association. He was honored at the AGR Top Leaders Institute in Washington, D.C. Sjostrom attributes his successes to three things. Serving selflessly. Sjostrom has always found that serving others, even with no expectation of anything in return, has brought back opportunities to him personally and professionally. A great support system. Much of Sjostrom's success and the ideas he formulates come from his family, in-laws, and Lambda brothers he has met in college or after graduation. He stated, "Life would be much worse less fun without supportive friends and family." He encourages younger AGR members to rely heavily on their network to seek out opportunities. His faith. Knowing there is something greater that he can look to for guidance has been instrumental in his personal and professional life when making potentially life-altering decisions. We can't thank brother Sjostrom enough for the work that he has done within Lambda Chapter, the St. Paul Campus, the university community, and the agriculture community. We are honored to have such a well-connected servant leader marshal our organization. BOARD OPPORTUNITIES Lambda Alumni Corporation – Oversees ownership, maintenance, and leasing of the chapter house to undergraduate members. The board meets in person four times per year (one meeting at Founder's Day), with virtual attendance options available. Additional committee work between meetings is flexible and can be completed remotely. Lambda Educational Foundation – Manages Lambda's scholarship funds and endowments, ensuring financial support for undergraduates and potential new members. This board meets virtually three times per year, plus once in person at Founder's Day, with minimal committee work between meetings. Both positions are for three-year terms. This is your chance to give back, stay connected, and help guide its future. Will you step up? Fraternally, Dylan Barth #1716 Is It Your Time to Step Up? 1 2 3 I n fall 2025, the Lambda Alumni Corporation and Lambda Educational Foundation will each have open board seats, creating an opportunity for new leaders to step forward and help shape the future of our fraternity. These boards work alongside our undergraduates, providing guidance to ensure Lambda remains successful for years to come. Serving on either board is a rewarding way to give back to the brotherhood. Lambda has had a profound impact on my life, which is why I have spent eight years giving back through board service. It's time to bring in fresh perspectives—brothers who want to help sustain and strengthen our fraternity's future. If Lambda has played an important role in your life, I encourage you to consider this opportunity to make a difference. Alumni Corporation Board President Wins the Grand President's Award
