2 A BANNER YEAR Eta Zeta Prepares for Next Success Story A s the current Commander, I'm excited to update you on the many fun, impactful events that have taken place over the past year. From one of our strongest recruitment classes to major philanthropic efforts and leadership development, the men of Eta Zeta continue to raise the bar. An Influential Class Fall 2024 recruitment was nothing short of historic. We successfully welcomed 56 new candidates into our fellowship, one of the largest classes in our chapter's history. is incredible accomplishment is a testament to the hard work of our recruitment chairmen and committee, who spent countless hours identifying and recruiting men who embody the values of Love, Honor, and Truth. e energy and enthusiasm from this new class have already made a significant impact on our chapter, and we're excited to see what they will accomplish in the years ahead. Habitat for Humanity Eta Zeta has always been committed to service, and this quarter we continued that tradition by raising over $4,000 for Habitat for Humanity, once again placing us among the top philanthropic contributors on campus. Our events included a campus-wide car wash and food-serving events that brought both fun and purpose to our cause. We're proud that our efforts will help provide affordable housing to families in need, and we're grateful for the alumni and community support that helped us reach this goal. Social Events and Exchanges Brotherhood and camaraderie were in full swing during the winter quarter as we hosted multiple social exchanges with Kappa Delta, Sigma Kappa, and Alpha Chi Omega. ese events provided great opportunities to build connections across Greek life and continue traditions of fun and friendship. We also hosted two standout date parties this winter: our cocktail party and our annual semiformal—both of which were huge hits with members and guests alike. Leadership Development In January, Lt. Commander Grayson Williams HZ1499 and I attended the Sigma Nu College of Chapters in Roanoke, Virginia. e experience was incredibly valuable, giving us insight and inspiration on how to lead more effectively and strengthen our chapter in meaningful ways. We're eager to bring back what we've learned and apply it in the quarters ahead. Looking Ahead Our calendar for fall 2025 is already packed with exciting events, service opportunities, and continued leadership development. We're proud of the progress we've made, and we're confident this momentum will carry us to even greater heights. If you ever have any questions, want to get involved, or simply want to reconnect with the chapter, please don't hesitate to reach out. ank you to all our alumni and supporters—we are grateful for the foundation you've laid and the guidance you continue to provide.
