4 Heba Aziz Washington University in St. Louis – Economics and International Relations Heba is a wonder! Advocating for the innocent and underserved, she seeks to create fair, compassionate, and equitable systems of justice for everyone. Heba is a great communicator, and her compassionate, direct manner with the younger students has been a treat to watch. We celebrate this amazing young woman; we will miss you so much, and we look forward to having you come back to visit us. –Margie Lawrence, advisor Noah Bernd Creighton University – Neuroscience or Biology, Pre-Medicine Noah played the part of observer in our advisory group. He sat back and offered his opinion (and often funny remarks) when the time was perfect. He is an extremely kind person. He never makes a negative comment and is willing to include all whenever possible. We wish Noah the best of luck and know he'll work hard toward every goal. Enjoy Creighton! –Jen Fernandez/Susan Massaro, advisors Sebastian Borjas University of Notre Dame – Math and Economics Regardless of who you are or where you come from, entering a new space can always be intimidating. I, Ms. Fernandez, will always thank Sebastian for making me feel welcomed to Seabury both as a new advisor and a teacher. Sebastian is a kind, smart, and capable young man who will do amazing in all his future endeavors. There's a saying my family and I say whenever someone does something noteworthy, "Él es un orgullo Hispano." –Jen Fernandez/Susan Massaro, advisors Eliza Brockhoff Colorado State University – Biology, Pre-Veterinary Medicine Eliza came to my advising group in her latter high school years. The only thing I regret about this is that she wasn't with the group sooner. Her topics of conversation usually inspire a laugh or a thought. Eliza has my admiration for her beautiful mind and beautiful heart. –Sara Asher, advisor Landon Farmer University of Kansas – Chemistry, Honors Program Landon became quite the leader of our merry little group. He went from being so quiet in ninth grade to inspiring esoteric conversations around the lunch table. Landon, I really appreciated your wit and your intensely smart insight. –Sara Asher, advisor Elyse Hammann DePaul University, Chicago – Performing Arts Management Elyse is one of the most passionate and inspiring students I have ever met during my time as an instructor. I have had the pleasure of seeing her participate in everything from the art club to the school musical to a variety of athletic events. I never once saw her give anything less than 100%. I have been truly honored to have been her advisor, and I am thankful that my classroom will forever house several of her wondrous pieces of work. –Lawrence Meier, advisor Chase Honarvar Lake Forest College, Chicago – Business Management, Basketball We are so proud of the work that Chase has done this year for the Seabury student body with his commitment to his senior service project, "The Snack Shack." He has amazed us with his athletic prowess, setting the new record for the highest number of career blocks, a feat that has not been achieved since 1993! He is an amazing teammate both on and off the court, and a kind and humble young man who will go far in his pursuits. We wish you the best of luck! –Jen Fernandez/Susan Massaro, advisors Josie Kim Wellesley College – Biology Josie is a living testament to the motto, "Contribute more than you consume," in all that she does in her life. She is kind, funny, loyal, driven and, most importantly, she is a genuinely good person, contributing to the good in this world. Josie, wherever you may go in this world, always be good, always be kind, and always contribute more than you consume! I am so proud of you! –Brian Rios, advisor Margaret Mulhern University of California, Berkley – Political Science It's been a great joy watching Margaret grow from a quiet middle-schooler into the fine young leader she is today. Margaret is enthusiastic about civic engagement and is a role model; she has gone above and beyond outside the classroom, too, with her work for Honor Moon. Margaret has so much to be proud of in her time at Seabury. We wish her all the best next year and beyond! –Sonja Czarnecki, advisor Zephyr O'Hara Undecided Zephyr is a great young man who will be a leader, and his quiet "lead by example" style speaks volumes. Zephyr is a talented athlete whose value to the Seabury basketball team was immeasurable and made him a true team player in every sense of the word. Zeph, you will always be a Seahawk, and it has been a true honor to know you and have you in our advisory group. Good luck in the next chapter, and remember that you are always part of the Seabury family! –Eric Nelson and Ellen Chindamo, advisors Congratulations, Class of
