Epsilon Echo THE NEWSLETTER FOR ALUMNI AND FRIENDS OF EPSILON CHAPTER OF THETA CHI AT WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE SPRING 2025 I am happy to update you that our current operations here at Epsilon Chapter are running smoothly—we had yet another successful year with no issues. e Chapter is on good terms with the school and Interfraternity Council and has reached its highest number of Epsilon Brothers in recent years. is year has truly been exceptional and marked by some achievements and recognition. Among the honors received, the Phil S. Randall Success in Recruitment Award stands as a testament to our dedication and commitment to our International Fraternity. Additionally, the school presented us with the Outstanding Alumni Programming Award, a testament to the outstanding efforts of Carson Murphy '24 and James Melvin '85. ese awards not only celebrate our accomplishments but also inspire us to continue striving for excellence in our endeavors. Last academic year, a new class of 28 members was brought in by then- Recruitment Chairmen Allan Anderson '25 and Ben Smola '25 and then educated by marshal Joseph Kukenmeister '24 and Chaplain Daniel Ouellette '24. is helped grow our numbers after 11 seniors graduated in 2024. e class of 2024 was exceptional, helping the Chapter grow through the tough COVID-19 years and maintaining strong ties with undergraduate Brothers post-graduation. This year, we welcomed 22 new Brothers thanks to the valiant efforts of Recruitment Chairmen Parker Hunt '25 and Cole Gilbert '25; they were educated by marshal Nikolas Smith '25 and Chaplain Matthew Lasata '25. This class of 2028 has an incredibly bright future, and many of them are already representing our fraternity with honor on and off campus. At the end of this academic year, the Chapter graduates 22 members. e class of 2025 had heavy involvement within our Chapter, holding many leadership positions over the past three years. With such involvement, their commitment has had a significant impact on the success of this Chapter. Even after graduating, they wish to support and give back to the Chapter however they can. I couldn't be prouder of this Chapter. We have shown incredible resilience in the face of adversity, adapted seamlessly to changes from nationals and the university, and continue to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that make us the best fraternity on campus. I have no doubt we will keep pushing forward together as I leave the position of Chapter president to Brother Andres Casanova-Aleman '26, and I am excited to see what he and the Chapter will accomplish. We look forward to seeing the future success stories of Epsilon Chapter of eta Chi. Fraternally, Allan Anderson '25 Outgoing Chapter President Top Row (left to right): Gavin Smith | Fall Church, Va.
