N O T E S O F T H E L Y R E | P A G E 2 G rowing up in Los Angeles, the entertainment industry was all Danielle Pistotnik '13 knew, so it's no surprise that it became her career! Throughout her time in the industry, Danielle has enjoyed many opportunities, including twice being named Business Insider's top digital managers, being listed in The Hollywood Reporter's 35 Under 35, developing several hit podcasts, and creating licensing deals and companies for her clients. Danielle also pitched and created The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and is an executive producer on the show. "I started working with the cast years ago as their manager. It was obvious they were stars, and I right away started pitching out the show concept to networks and production companies," Danielle shared. "Getting a show picked up, developed, and then aired took four years and was incredibly difficult." Danielle believes she became successful because she was rebellious in college and Alpha Chi Omega. "I stood with who I was, and now I am highly respected for my strong will in the most difficult industry to make it in in the world." Danielle's family is the best she could ask for. Her mom is an immigrant and her dad is an L.A. native, and they have been encouraging since she was a kid, always telling her she can do anything. They have been supportive of Danielle's sexuality and love her wife. "They taught me to be powerful and go after exactly what I want, no matter how many people try and tell me I can't." In her free time, Danielle lifts weights, does martial arts, surfs, cycles, plays guitar, and cooks. You can connect with her at dpistotnik@gmail.com.
