Delta Chi at Kansas State University | Delta Chi at Kansas State University | Spring 2025 Spring 2025 T H E S C I M I TA R T H E S C I M I TA R M y name is Finn Wilson '26, and after serving as recruitment chairman, I was elected as "A" of Delta Chi last fall. I'm excited to share some chapter updates and recent successes with you! LEADERS ON AND OFF CAMPUS We began the spring semester in January by attending Delta Chi's Regional Leadership Academy in St. Louis. Brothers on our executive board received officer-specific training to aid with the transition into new roles. On campus, we held our annual chapter retreat and set innovative goals to grow and remain competitive. One of these was increased efforts in philanthropy. We usually have one large event but decided we needed additional events with other Greek houses. In March, we hosted Donuts with the Deltas alongside Kappa Delta, and in early April, we held a cake decorating competition with Acacia. I am extremely proud that our brothers identified a goal and worked hard to make our community a better place, all while collaborating with other Greek organizations. Delta Chi is an amazing example of what it means to be a part of the fraternity and sorority life community. GROWING CLOSER TOGETHER We had our annual Mom's Weekend in late March and spent a Saturday afternoon at Liquid Art Winery. With the support of Delta Chi's moms, we raised more than $7,500 for our education foundation scholarships! As always, this event was a highlight of our semester. Thus far, the spring semester has been a fantastic time for all. We continue to set the standard in the classroom, better our community, and grow in number. Life is great being a Delta Chi at K-State! Please let us know next time you are in Manhattan. I would love to grab some coffee, a bite to eat, or show you around Moro. I also look forward to seeing you at our upcoming alumni happy hour this summer! ITB, Finn Wilson '26 Chapter "A" finnwil56@ksu.edu Brothers enjoy a sweet victory, beating Acacia 71-46.
