M uch was accomplished by the graduate and undergraduate brothers of Beta Kappa during the fall 2024 semester. FRATERNITY LEADERSHIP Board of Chapter Advisors President Daniel Best '86 received the Coulter Cup from our international headquarters. This award is given to the graduate brother who has contributed the most to an undergraduate Chapter through service in a capacity other than Purple Legionnaire. Michael Rosen '87, the previous year's Durrance Award recipient for the Fraternity's most outstanding Purple Legionnaire, stepped down and transferred the responsibility to Sean Moskal, Mississippi State '21. Michael will continue to serve Beta Kappa as House Corporation treasurer and as the BCA's direct advisor to the Chapter president. Sean Moskal previously served as Beta Kappa's field secretary and led the recruitment and restart of Delta Upsilon Chapter at the University of Denver. After working to reestablish the Chapter, Sean and his wife relocated from Memphis, Tenessee, to Denver, where he now works for EF Tours as well as for the Colorado Avalanche on their ice maintenance team. He's looking forward to guiding the Chapter to their first Cheney Cup. PHILANTHROPY EFFORTS This fall semester saw a big step forward for our philanthropy and service contributions led by Philanthropy Chairman William Nassif '27. Will organized and led numerous charity events, raising a total of $7,538 in a single semester, outperforming his own goal of $5,000. He accomplished this with fun and rewarding events that participating Chapter members will never forget. Events included a car wash, Phi Gamms 4 Boulder, Battle of the Bands, Pie a FIJI, and a holiday concert. Brothers have also continued to show their commitment to service in our community. Members delivered meals to the homeless around Pearl Street and The Hill. They also volunteered at Boulder Shelter, cooking and serving food to individuals who otherwise might not have a warm meal that night. In addition, they continued Hill cleanups. Perge!
