It is truly through their volunteer efforts that Gamma Phi Beta is able to provide a house for 82 live-in members. We have three members of our AHC Board who are retiring at the end of the 2024-25 term. I asked each of them to share what serving on AHC has meant to them or a favorite memory. I wholeheartedly thank them for their dedication and service to Alpha Delta Chapter. After all these years since graduation, I'm amazed at how alike we are and how we respect and love one another. It's a rare bond where, even if I don't know you, you talk to me as if we've always known each other. It's difficult to describe the 'sisterhood' feeling we share, which I believe is exactly what our four founders aimed to establish—a perfect connection." Pam Naylor Johnson '72 "My connection to Alpha Delta began at Mizzou, where I served as chapter president. Years later, when my daughter joined, I was invited to serve on the House Corporation Board (now AHC) with my sister, Cindy Gates Wood '77. Over the last two decades, I've witnessed the strength, commitment, and business savvy of our sisterhood. I've had the privilege to contribute to several major projects, including transitioning the old annex to the expanded parking lot, supporting a multimillion-dollar capital campaign for house renovations, and participating in recruitment activities and alumnae milestone celebrations. I'm especially proud of the legacy shared with my family, including the sorority's Study Room at 808 Richmond, which is dedicated to my family members Michelle Naylor Jones '74 and Cindy and my daughter, Lauren Johnson Olson '04. Though my time on the board is ending, my love and loyalty to Gamma Phi Beta remain strong, and I'm honored to have worked alongside so many inspiring women." Christy Woltzen Ehrenreich '74 "After decades of service on the AHC, I'm stepping down but will continue to volunteer on the IH Scholarship Committee for the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. I started on the board in 1984 and also served on the Theta Chapter AHC while living in Denver. Over the years, I've contributed to two capital campaigns for 808 Richmond and helped establish the memorial garden and rock at the house. Living in the chapter house at Mizzou in the 1970s and being house manager during the penthouse construction was an honor. I've seen the house transform over the years from green shag carpet to an elegantly decorated house with an elevator! I've held nearly every position on AHC; I have loved being able to give back to GPB. Although I'll miss being at the house, I'm confident in future leadership. Being a Gamma Phi Beta is a lifelong commitment!" Hilites Alpha Delta Spring 2025
