e are excited to officially launch the 2025 Gamma Chi Memorial
Scholarships! ese scholarships celebrate the enduring legacy
and exceptional achievements of six distinguished brothers. Each award
is named in honor of a member who embodied the ideals of Sigma Nu
during their time in the house. eir contributions continue to inspire us,
and through these scholarships, we aim to motivate future generations to
uphold their commitment to excellence.
Scholarship Awards:
• The Gordy Richards ('53) Award for Gamma Chi Excellence
and Community Service
• The Brett Roberts ('80) Award for Gamma Chi Excellence
and Community Service
• The Matt Eakin ('96) Award for Ethical Leadership
• The Erik Applebee ('96) Award for Ethical Leadership
• The Colin Carty ('06) Award for Academic Achievement
• The Brant Ferrarini ('85) Award for Academic Achievement
In 2025, a total of $9,500 in scholarship funds will be awarded to honor
these outstanding brothers and to support new recipients who embody
their values. This marks the beginning of an enduring tradition, as
we are committed to expanding the scholarship fund in the years to
come—further celebrating the excellence of our past while promoting the
achievements of the future.

Despite an early start, the 520-bridge closure, and
the Husky loss, our open house on October 12,
2024, was an outstanding success! Alumni and
their families enjoyed a fantastic brunch, received
chapter updates, and had the chance to spend
quality time with the undergraduate chapter.
