Welcome, New Members Local House Corporation Board For those interested in serving on the board, please contact Julie Erselius Abeln '84 at juliedoug26@yahoo.com. Recruitment Recommendations FAQs PNM is an acronym for "potential new member." Knowing more about a PNM allows the chapter to connect with her better and earlier, provide a personalized recruitment experience and promote sorority membership. For an alumna to complete a recommendation form, she must be logged into the My Alpha Chi member portal with her username and password. For assistance with creating a login for the Alpha Chi Omega website, please contact recommendations@alphachiomega.org. Submit recommendations at least seven days prior to the beginning of primary recruitment. At Mizzou, recruitment begins Aug. 17, 2025. Bid Day is Aug. 23. How do I add a letter of support, a résumé or photo to my recommendation? Alpha Chi Omega does not require recommendations or accept letters of support. By using the online recommendation form, you do not need to attach or send the PNM's résumé. The recommendation form allows alumnae to submit the same information in easy-to-read fields. There is no need to mail a hard copy of the form or a separate recommendation letter to the chapter. Because most PNMs provide their own photos to chapters using campus recruitment systems, there is no longer an option to submit a photo. What if I have more information to share? If you'd like to share more information than what's covered in the standard questions on the online recommendation form, you may include it in the field labeled "Additional Notes," found under the Qualifications section. If you run out of space, please review and refine your comments. Chapters have a limited amount of time to review their recommendations, so concise descriptions are best. Do I need to contact the chapter to inform them I completed the form? There is no need to contact the collegiate chapter directly. The system automatically relays the information provided in the recommendation to the chapter you selected. ? ? ?
