Page 3 PI KAPPA ALPHA B eta Phi Chapter is continuing an upward trend in terms of recruitment. This year, we have initiated more than 30 members into the fraternity, with another 15 quality guys on the way to that same goal. Vice President of Membership Nate Stenseth '27 and his recruitment board have kept us on a steady track to success with their well-executed plans and new member education programs. From this pool of new members, many are already very involved within the house, helping with innovations board, philanthropies, and campus involvement. If any alumni wish to contact our membership board for next year's recruitment, please email nstenset@purdue.edu. We have once again emerged with an impressive academic performance, boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.24 and a new member GPA of 3.19. This is quite impressive, as many brothers are involved in rigorous majors such as engineering, computer science, pharmacy, etc. Under the oversight of Luke Wampler '27, we hope to once again outperform these results. His academic plan consists of running study hours for members struggling in academics within the house as well as drawing up monthly plans of success with them so they can manage their goals much easier. Beta Phi's academic year has been marked with a strong philanthropy performance. The year started off with PIKE's Dream Girl, the main fundraising event for the whole year. This philanthropy consisted of the Rose Ceremony, PIKE's Fireman Challenge, Pie-a-Pike, a volleyball tournament, and various online challenges. This series of events alone raised $2,600 within the span of a few weeks, purely from the student base at Purdue. We began the spring semester with a pickleball philanthropy event, bringing in $1,000 from roughly 55 teams that signed up. Beta Phi Chapter will start posting philanthropy events on the public Facebook page so alumni can come and interact with the brothers. Community service for last semester was a huge hit with more than 800 hours being spent at food banks, the West Lafayette Library, and a winterization project. Community service engagement is up within the Chapter, and we only expect to have more people contribute a significant number of hours for next year.
