SPRING 2025 ALPHA OMEGAN the A L P H A T A U O M E G A F R A T E R N I T Y A T T H E U N I V E R S I T Y O F F L O R I D A W ell, here it is—the start of the spring semester! The football team ended the year well, and the basketball team just destroyed the No. 1 ranked team in the country. This is much better than we were at this time last year. Our teams and our fraternity are also looking pretty good. u Chapter Growth Alpha Omega finished strong with their Casino Night philanthropy! This was despite the casino equipment company confusing the days, starting the event an hour and a half late (and with fewer tables than planned). Nevertheless, it was a huge success, raising over $50,000 for AdventHealth Cancer Institute in Orlando. Worthy Master Wyatt Williams '21, Exchequer Dan Fields '21, and the rest of the undergraduate Brothers led a great fall recruitment. As we start 2025, we have 239 on- campus members—increasing from the prior year once again. u Around the House Tau Mansion added a new wireless internet system; the old system could not handle all the devices the Brothers use for streaming. I remember feeling lucky we had a landline phone and a 26-inch TV. Man, how things have changed. Closing out the fall semester, members enjoyed tasty steak and crab legs before finals. A big thank you to Housemother Molly McCann, Jay, Ieshia, and Michael for the great meals. u Looking Ahead Our next All Generations Alumni Weekend will be July 18-20. It will take place at the Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort, Golf & Marina. You can reserve your room with our group rate at the QR code. If you have any questions, please email John Marion '77 at jmarion@uww-adr.com. As I look back, I count the blessings I continue to receive from this brotherhood. I hope you all continue to enjoy the fraternity as much as I do, and I'll see you in the near future. LAMB. Love and Respect, Michael McVeigh '75, Chapter Advisor (904) 535-0522 myflcarguy@aol.com Alpha Omega 1980s reunion! Alumni, family, and guests gather on the front lawn.
