In May, Smyrna will also become the home of Redstone's fourth Rutherford County branch. e new branch will open at 2005 Huginn Lane. Expanding to Smyrna was an easy choice for Redstone. When visiting Smyrna, keep an eye on the sky. e city is also home to one of the most iconic blimps in the country, the Goodyear Blimp. It often flies over the town for events and air shows. e town's association with blimps goes back decades since Smyrna Airport serves as a base for Goodyear's airship operations. e sight of these giant airships floating through the sky is definitely a community favorite.
