Kansas DU won the Sweepstakes Award at the recent International Convention alongside
Central Florida, Florida, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Western Illinois. DU is not only
firmly reestablished at KU but is winning awards from the International Chapter!

ecruitment Chairman Mark Wappler
'26 found a strong group of pledges
who started this fall. Mark, a twin, chose
KU when his fraternal twin, Billy, chose to
attend Mizzou.
Many alumni believed that a problem prior
to its demise was a lack of senior leadership
living in the house. To provide financial
stability and leadership, pledges agree to live
in the house for three years, with discounts
for those who remain as seniors. Mark
lived on the third floor of the DU house last
summer, recruiting prospects.
Delta Upsilon has always been characterized by
diversity. Current actives or pledges hail from
small towns in Kansas, Minnesota, Chicago, St.
Louis, Baltimore, Colorado, and California.
