As always, we hosted our annual Chicken and Waffles event with the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha. This event was a huge success and raised over $1,200. Additionally, we hosted a toy drive for children with an organization from every Greek council, including IFC, PHC, NPHC, and MGC. This was a great way for hundreds of students of different backgrounds to come together to help people in need. BROTHERHOOD From becoming intramural champions again to having multiple brotherhood steak dinners, our chapter members have never been closer. Our football team went undefeated, winning the intramural flag football championship game 26-12 in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. With approximately 100 brothers in the stands to support us, we knew we were going to win. Our traditional steak dinners also helped us celebrate the start of the semester and the accomplishments we achieved by its end. INVOLVEMENT We upheld our consistent excellence in on-campus involvement with two more of our brothers, Andrew Sabadash '23 and Chancellor Wilson '22, being tapped for Florida Blue Key. Alongside these accomplishments, we have numerous brothers serving in large roles in countless clubs and organizations such as IFC (where former chapter President Ryan Crossan '22 is VP of operations), Student Senate, Florida Cicerones, FLEX, AIAA, Gator Wealth and Asset Management, Student Finance Group, Vision Party Campaign Exec, and Student Government Productions. SOCIAL CONNECTIONS After a fun-filled Homecoming week with the wonderful ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha, our connections are stronger than ever. We also hosted seven football tailgates at our house for brothers, alumni, family, sororities, and more. We also traveled to Nashville to support the Gators on the road against Tennessee. WHAT'S NEXT? We are thrilled to embark on the road we have paved for ourselves this Spring. We are excited for all the events we have to look forward to, including Parents' Weekend, Orange and Blue Tailgate, Formal, and many more unique opportunities. We are also excited to welcome our next pledge class under the supervision of Nathan Bauman '23, our recruitment chairman. See page 4 for more information on how to refer potential new members and help our brotherhood grow ever stronger. Fraternally, Gavin Serwe '22 Chapter President Our intramural football team gathers after winning the Fall 2024 intramural flag football championship in the SWAMP! They couldn't have done it without the brotherhood's support. Congratulations to Chancellor Wilson '22 and Andrew Sabadash '23 on being tapped into Florida Blue Key's Fall 2024 Tapping Class!
