to celebrate Delta Psi's 75th anniversary!
Kick off the weekend on Friday night with a
Band Party, hosted by Bob "Beo" Bedard '75.
Saturday, join the undergrad chapter for a ritual
exemplification, followed by an Open House
at the Pomeroy Chapter House. Wrap up the
celebration at the 75th Anniversary Banquet
at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy. Check your

e had a great turnout for our Fall
Alumni Weekend Celebration
and the 200th Anniversary of RPI's
founding! The highlight of the weekend
was welcoming the chapter's newest
Significant Sig, Chuck Maggelet '86,
back to the Pomeroy Chapter House on
Friday for the unveiling of his framed
certificate in the Alumni Room and his
name engraving on the Pomeroy Anvil
in the front yard. He was joined by Steve
Rosato '85, Ron Gecsedi '84, Satbir
Nayar '85, Kurt Van Wagenen '85,
and Tom Hamlin '83, who came out to
celebrate this honor.
On Saturday, at our tent set up on the
lawn in front of the Student Union, we
were surprised by a visit from Brother
John Gotsch '54, celebrating his 70th
reunion. John's sons had driven him to
Troy from his home in New Jersey. What
a great honor it was to greet one of our
oldest alumni.
In addition, we had alumni join us from
the Class of 1963 all the way through
the Class of 2023! Besides the 200th
Anniversary celebrations on campus and
our Friday event honoring Chuck, we also
had dinner at the Pomeroy Chapter House
on Saturday, provided by Chef Mike and
the undergraduates. It was a great event
getting to spend time with my Sigma Chi
brothers and this Alumni Weekend did
not disappoint!

November 8, 2024, under the guidance
of Magister Shawn Vembenil '25. This
semester's pledge class was made up of
three sophomores and two juniors.
