si Chapter is proud to celebrate our own
Sherwood Burns-Nader '02 on her career
achievements at The University of Alabama's
College of Human Environmental Sciences.
Since 1976, the National Alumni Association
has honored exceptional faculty members for
their dedication, innovation, and passion with the
Outstanding Commitment to Teaching Awards.
Four UA faculty members are chosen each year to
receive this exclusive honor. We are so proud to
announce and congratulate Sherwood as one of the
2024 recipients!

I
n August, Psi Chapter
welcomed 140 new members!
Of that number, 134 are UA freshmen,
six are UA sophomores, and 36 are
Alpha Gamma Delta legacies. While
73 are from the state of Alabama,
66 are from out of state and one is
from Canada. The class's overall
GPA is 4.06. With the addition of
these new members, Psi Chapter's
total membership has exceeded 500
members for the first time!
