T
aking a step back is often underappreciated, especially when it helps us rediscover
important history. This semester, and after a few years' hiatus, brothers revived the
beloved tradition of SpikeTau, a philanthropy event in support of SeriousFun Children's
Network that has always been a cornerstone of our chapter's commitment to service. Alumni
can get involved in several ways, including purchasing Newman's Own Orange Mango
Tango, where 100% of profits go to charity.
In addition to rekindling customs, our undergraduates are also paving the way for new
opportunities. They've launched an Alumni Career Exploration Program, connecting brothers
for mentorship and professional guidance. We're excited to pair newly initiated brothers
from the upcoming Alpha Alpha class with alumni resources while still expanding the
diversity of our professional network.
A great way to celebrate the start of this initiative will be the NYC Alumni
Event on March 22, 2025. Have a drink (or some Mango Tango!) and relive
the traditions we've cherished while looking ahead to the exciting new ones
emerging in our chapter.
Cheers to our continued growth, ongoing traditions, and the
new keystones we're creating together.
