CHAPTER PROUDLY SERVES COMMUNITY Promoting Mutual Assistance the betA Piper PAge 2 B eta Pi has many fall successes to share. Our grades, fundraising efforts, and campus activities showcase our members' unwavering dedication and drive to make a difference, both within our group and the larger community. u Making the Grades This semester, 75% of the chapter earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Fifteen members were even named to the dean's list. Our fall Dean's List Dinner was more than a time to celebrate their dedication—it also allowed our chapter to gather and exchange stories while motivating one another to sustain this progress and keep pursuing success. u Helping Others Our chapter recently hosted a charity event for Feed My Starving Children, packing more than 50 meals for those in need. A big shoutout to Paul Goff '25, whose leadership was instrumental in making this project a success! We're excited to partner with more organizations in 2025 as we support the people in our community. u Staying Engaged on Campus Positive community engagement starts right here on campus! Diego Contreras-Gonzalez '27 and Carson Purdy-Hilts '27, both dedicated Bystander Prevention Advocates, are committed to ensuring an inclusive environment for all in the Beta experience. Conducting workshops and awareness programs plays a role in educating our members and peers about the significance of intervention and support, promoting respect and responsibility across campus. u Looking Ahead To sum up, our successes this semester truly reflect the dedication and effort put in by our chapter members. With accomplishments and impactful charity work, along with active engagement in campus events, we have set a solid groundwork for future triumphs. Going forward, our focus is on connecting with our alumni community and venturing into projects to elevate our chapter's influence even more. We are thrilled to nurture a positive community in the upcoming months and urge all members to share their thoughts and enthusiasm as we progress together along our path. Yours in __kai__, Mikil R. Boosting Academic Achievement We are committed to fostering triumph within our community through study sessions and workshops that emphasize efficient studying methods and time-management skills. We plan to help more members exceed a 3.6 GPA. Community Involvement Our objective is to generate donations and volunteer time by enhancing our community involvement by arranging a minimum of three events this year in collaboration with local nonprofit organizations and service groups. Strengthen Campus Involvement We want to enhance our presence and connections within the campus community by organizing activities that encourage inclusivity and safety to raise awareness of Beta's shared values and goals. Brothers enjoy a Jackbox video game together during Brotherhood Weekend. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air, creating moments of connection and fun. Brothers celebrate Nicholas Johnson '26 on his 21st birthday—with a meaningful purpose. In addition to the festivities, we organized a bone marrow testing drive! Thank you to Paul Goff '25 for organizing our volunteer event for Feed My Starving Children!
