The evening was expertly hosted by Paul Fleischut '82, who ensured it was both thoughtful and memorable (special thanks to Paul for his dedication to making the evening a success!). Both inductees shared insights about the invaluable experiences they had as undergraduate members and how those experiences shaped their professional journeys. Congratulations to both Thomas and Dan; you make us proud! At that banquet, several members from the class of 2014 spoke about lifelong friendships they forged at Kappa Sigma, highlighting these relationships as one of the most rewarding aspects of their time in the fraternity. Building these connections requires effort, especially as we navigate busy lives filled with work and family commitments; however, taking the time to reconnect with your pledge Brothers is truly worthwhile. Our members have a variety of options for spending their leisure time. Engaging in exercise is a positive way to utilize spare time, and we are excited to announce that construction on the new weight room has begun! The walls are up and painted, mirrors have been installed, and we are currently awaiting the arrival of flooring and equipment. We are grateful for a significant donation from Thomas Sonderman '82, which will help complete this project. Thank you once again, Tom! The young men are eagerly looking forward to the facility's completion. The alumni of Beta-Chi continue to provide invaluable support to the Chapter each year. Your contributions, both in dues and donations, directly assist members facing financial challenges and enhance their educational opportunities. Your generosity makes it possible for us to offer these essential resources. "The bulk of the 1975 pledge class traveled to Rolla to enjoy Homecoming!" –Mark White '75 The class of 1978 held their annual reunion at Table Rock Lake in August. "In September, our 1986 pledge class had a weekend reunion at the stunningly awesome lake house of Dan Lumma '86 at Table Rock Lake. It was great to see eight of the guys, many I hadn't seen in over 35 years— lots of laughs and great memories. Big thanks to Dan for spearheading the event and hosting us." –Brian Ash '86 The 2014 pledge class returned to Rolla this October to celebrate their 10-year reunion. Members (14 to be exact) made the trip from across the country to celebrate a decade of brotherhood at this year's Homecoming. They visited the renowned Rolla establishment, Alex's Pizza, on Friday night. Alex's has hosted Big Brother nights for Beta- Chi for years, so it was a nostalgic venue. The brothers ended their night by playing beer die and singing along to "Mr. Brightside." On Saturday, the brothers dressed up and commemorated their time in college during the Homecoming dinner at Beta-Chi. William "Reed" Davis '14 delivered an inspirational speech and reminisced on his pledge class's time at Missouri S&T. The brothers enjoyed a fantastic dinner and exchanged stories with the undergraduates well into the early hours of the next morning." –Ryan Howe '14 Let's Get Together! Let's Get Together!
