Tau Beta Hoot Winter 2025 Inside: Welcome, neW members 2 Finding and FolloWing Your Passion 3 alumna oPPortunities 4 The the tau beta chaPter oF chi omega at oklahoma state universitY W e have had a successful and fun-filled year at 310 S. Monroe. Our members continue to excel in all areas of campus while upholding the truths of Chi Omega along the way. In August, we celebrated a wonderful recruitment as we welcomed 59 new members to our sisterhood. Sierra Scott '21 did an incredible job leading our Chapter, and we have been thrilled to share our sisterhood throughout the semester. The new members participated in Freshman Follies and placed second overall with the men of Beta Theta Pi. We are so proud of our cast and directors for their efforts alongside Tau Beta alumna Sierra Sewell '20, who served as executive director for a second year. We recently paired with our brother fraternity, Kappa Sigma, to prepare for Varsity Review in spring 2025. In addition to our on-stage success, we paired with the men of FarmHouse for OSU's Greatest Homecoming and brought home some hardware. Spearheaded by Head Homecoming Director Sierra Scott, we won third place for our house decoration, third place in the Harvest Carnival competition, and second place for the Sweepstakes award. Our beloved Paige Orr '21 and Karstyn Cantrell '20 were honored as they served on the Homecoming Royalty Court. They represented Tau Beta with respect and class, and we were proud to support them throughout the week. During our annual Wish Week, through our Frats at Bat tournament, Kenzie's Kones snow cone event, and Waffles for Wishes, our philanthropy directors, Erin Lowe '22 and Kenzie Gallegos '22, raised the bar as we secured over $41,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are so thankful for the opportunity to give back to Make-A-Wish Oklahoma and children in the Stillwater community. Among many other achievements, we are proud to announce that in spring 2024, our Chapter finished second in grades in the Greek community with a 3.69 GPA. Our members continue to excel in all areas as they serve in their academic colleges, campus clubs, and campus ministries. We celebrated four accomplished women who received Top 20 Freshman awards, with two moving on to be acknowledged as Top 10 Freshman by the OSU Alumni Association. Emory Kouplen '22 will continue Tau Beta's legacy on the Panhellenic executive team as the public relations chairman. In addition, AnnaClaire Arterbury '22 will serve on the Homecoming executive team in 2025. We are also excited for the upcoming leaders within our Chapter, as we slated a new executive board for 2025 and will soon elect a new cardinal cabinet team. The future of Tau Beta is bright! This year has been one for the books. We are proud of our members for their contributions in and outside of Chi Omega. Our Chapter continues to foster a deep sense of community while setting our members up for success in and out of college. We couldn't be more thankful for the support of our advisors, House Corporation, and dedicated alumnae, and hope to continue their legacy at Oklahoma State. Loyally, Campbell Collier '21 Chapter President Paige Orr '21 and Karstyn Cantrell '20 represent Oklahoma State on the Homecoming Royalty Court. MEMBERS GET INVOLVED AND GIVE BACK A Year of Achievement Our senior class soaking in their last recruitment as on- campus members. This was a special time for this class to reflect on all their wonderful years in Tau Beta, and they are leaving with excitement to give back as alumnae.
