3 DTD THE CORDELT Staying True to Delt W ith summer renovations completed at the Shelter, the relationship between Beta Omicron's alumni and undergraduates has never been stronger. The brothers were delighted to begin the semester with completely redone bathrooms, a brand-new common space, and an overhaul of the kitchen ventilation and plumbing. Our gratitude cannot be overstated, and the generosity of Beta Omicron's alumni is an inspiring example of the lifelong commitment that membership in Delta Tau Delta entails. Beta Omicron continues to thrive as exceptional scholars and outstanding members of the Cornell community. Jatin Mukerji '25 led his project team to a gold medal in the iGEM Grand Jamboree, their third in as many years and their 12th in 15 years of competing. John ReyMartin '25, a pre-med student, achieved a near-perfect score on the MCAT, placing in the 99th percentile overall. In addition, both Jatin and John continued their biotechnology research, presenting at NABEC, an international research symposium, over the summer. Noah Diamond '25 secured an internship at NBC and assisted in the running of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games over the summer as well. Noah, Aaron Hafkin '25, and Matthew McCormack '25 returned from studying abroad (Aaron and Noah from the UK, Matthew from Japan) this semester. Andrew Chung '26 and Gian Syki '27 both serve as teaching assistants this fall (in statistics and economics, respectively). Spring graduates Kenneth Cula '24, Logan Roeling '24, and Vincent Fong '24 returned this semester in the pursuit of their master's degrees in computer science. Andrew also led the chapter in several philanthropic avenues this fall. He planned a two-week clothing donation drive in support of a local charity and organized a fundraiser for Breakthrough T1D, a type 1 diabetes research foundation, supporting them as well as our partner organization JDRF. Brothers also participated in a Cornell IFC blood drive, donating blood for hurricane relief efforts—as well as blood drives at a local fire department, courtesy of John ReyMartin '25 (who volunteers as a firefighter/EMT there). We can't wait to celebrate 135 years of Delt brotherhood at Cornell next year. Thank you for your steadfast support! Fraternally, Jatin Mukerji '25 Chapter President Chapter Eternal John M.
