3 Kappa Sigma Jim Rutkowski '70 (Γ975) won the Three Rivers Environmental Teacher of the Year award from 1999-2005. He was also named Carnegie Science Teacher of the Year in 2005. Jim is the chairman of the Presque Isle Bay Public Advisory Board for delisting Bay as a Great Lakes Area of Concern. He oversaw 75 lab employees in the tissue culture micro propagation facility. In October 2019, Ken retired after 15 years. He married his long-term partner in December 2017 and moved to the Sacramento area in Carmichael, Calif. He spent 30 years providing jobsite trailers to contractors, modular classrooms to schools, car lots, DOT driver exams, and other businesses that needed space. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and daughters, Jessica and Christina, as well as AGR little brother Nate Nourse '86 (Γ1235).
