A s the leaves fall and another Penn State football season nears its end, I find myself drawn to State College, soaking in its vibrant energy. Between the games and familiar haunts, I often reflect on how best to serve our DU brotherhood—both alumni and undergraduates. To those visiting town for any reason, I encourage you to stop by the Chapter House. Even a simple walk around the grounds can reconnect you with cherished memories and offer valuable insight. The Alumni Board of Directors has worked tirelessly to enhance the DU experience, ensuring stability and growth for future generations. Our active brothers are eager to meet alumni and share their experiences. They value the wisdom and stories of those who came before them, and they genuinely seek to build lasting connections. Your presence—whether to offer advice, share a fond memory, or assess the house's needs—is invaluable. Together, we can continue to maintain and improve our cherished home. This season also marks a time of transition for our undergraduate brothers, as they hold elections to choose the leaders who will guide DU into the spring semester. Their dedication and pride in carrying the DU name are evident, and I am confident they will continue to make us proud. I am deeply grateful for the commitment and contributions of both our alumni and undergraduates. Together, we have fostered a legacy of excellence and camaraderie. Let's build on this momentum, ensuring DU remains a source of pride and brotherhood for years to come. RECAPPING RECENT DELTA UPSILON ALUMNI EVENTS CELEBRATING BROTHERHOOD CELEBRATING BROTHERHOOD T his fall, Penn State Chapter of Delta Upsilon hosted two alumni gatherings that highlighted the enduring strength of our brotherhood. These events not only provided opportunities to reconnect but also reinforced the important role alumni play in supporting the Chapter. On October 5, alumni returned to State College for Homecoming as Penn State faced Illinois. Alumni gathered outside Beaver Stadium for pregame festivities. It was a vibrant atmosphere, filled with laughter and memories, as brothers united to celebrate our recent successes as well as the rich history of DU. The following week, Brett Eiseman '92 organized an away game watch party at Locust Lane Brewery in Malvern for the PSU vs. USC game. Alumni from the greater Philadelphia area came together to cheer on the Nittany Lions in a spirited and relaxed setting. The Locust Lane Brewery, owned by alumni Tom Arnold '95, Bryan Brockson '96, and Jason Cartwright '96, has proven to be a wonderful space to reconnect and expand our alumni network. These gatherings exemplified the strength and camaraderie that define our fraternity. Whether on campus or across the state, they reminded us of the value of staying connected and supporting one another. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make these events so memorable. We look forward to more opportunities to gather and celebrate our DU brotherhood!
