Philanthropy Director:
This year, Delta Sigma's philanthropic events have been nothing
short of extraordinary. In the spring of 2024, Kappa Karnival
brought our chapter and community together for a evening of fun
and connection. With dunk tanks, corn dogs, a soda bar, and cotton
candy, the atmosphere was full of laughter and joy. In the fall, we
hosted Mac & Keys, combining the comfort of delicious mac-and-
cheese with a dessert and soda bar to create a warm, inviting
experience.
Planning and executing these events was not just about fundraising,
but about fostering kindness, teamwork, and generosity.
As our philanthropy director, Cameron Hill, beautifully shared,
"These events meant so much to me because they showed how
powerful we can be when we come together. Watching our
members pour their hearts into planning, participating, and
supporting these causes reminded me why I'm so passionate about
philanthropy and the impact it has on others. Knowing that we
raised just over $23,000 to support incredible causes is amazing,
but what meant the most to me was seeing the kindness, teamwork,
and generosity from everyone involved. It's something I'll carry with
me forever as a reminder of the difference we can make together."
These moments of joy and connection have been a cornerstone of
our chapter, reminding us of the profound impact we can have when
we come together for a greater purpose.
