Hi, I'm Hannah Phelps and I had the privilege to run the social media accounts for Kappa! I actually do
photography as my job and loved using my passion to reflect Kappa. These girls mean so much to me,
and I knew coming into my position I wanted to highlight what this house genuinely is. What I know to
be true is that these girls are all so unique in what hobbies they're involved in, their interest, and their
personalities. Kappa girls are not all alike. We unite through our core values, but we get to each be an
individual woman in Kappa. A girl in Kappa, not so much just a Kappa girl. Each one of us brings
something different to this sisterhood. That was my favorite part of this position, allowing that
individuality to show above all else.

One fun thing about my job is helping every position in some way at some point. I am present at every
event to take photos! I had the most fun getting to film videos we used during recruitment that
displayed stories from current members and alumni about their experience being a Kappa. I have
gotten the best opportunities to fall in love with Kappa so much more. I like to say I got a front row
seat to it all, but also the most exclusive behind the scenes access. It was such a joy! One of the
funniest memories was having our Instagram videos during work week accumulate millions of views
which then increased our following by over 10,000 followers. That was unexpected but cultivated
many laughs with our chapter as we got to see that happen.
