"This is what I found at Tri Delta. The women of Tri Delta value genuine friendship, academic success, and philanthropic initiatives, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that." Tri Delta celebrated the fact that Caroline was involved in extracurricular activities, something she worried about going into recruitment, as she wasn't sure if she would be able to balance her commitments to the Mizzou Golden Girls and a sorority. "Tri Delta values its members being involved not only in the house but also with the university," she shared. "This support is something that makes Tri Delta so special, and I believe it helps the women reach their full potential." Shortly after graduation, Caroline became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, an experience she loved. "The team and sisterhood aspect reminded me a lot of my time at Tri Delta. It is life-changing to be a part of something bigger than yourself, and I believe my experiences at Mizzou helped prepare me for the Cowboys and all that came with it." During her time with the Cowboys, Caroline was honored to have been named the 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2023 Veteran of the Year. Now, Caroline is an account manager at Stryker, where she has been able to utilize her strengths while also being pushed out of her comfort zone. "I am passionate about improving the lives of others through the products I cover, and I learn something new every day!" Caroline credits her family for helping shape her into who she is today. Her parents are proud Mizzou alumni. "With my father playing basketball and my mom being highly involved (and still is today) in her sorority, I grew up bleeding black and gold and was thrilled to follow in their footsteps." Caroline's brother, Wilson, was on the University of Missouri golf team, and her sister, Anna Kate, is a TCU graduate and now cheering for the Cowboys. In her free time, Caroline loves spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, and reading. "I also teach dance and love pouring into the next generation of performers." Caroline loved living in the house her sophomore year of college, as it helped her get to know the women of Delta Xi on a deeper level, and many of those women became her lifelong friends and have continued to support her throughout life. SUPPORTED IN COLLEGE AND BEYOND Caroline Sundvold '14 Is Grateful for Tri Delta "I am truly grateful for the support and love I feel from Delta Xi. I could not have asked for a better experience both in college and as an alumna, and I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing organization." CAROLINE RECENTLY RECEIVED THE MIZZOU R.A.H. AWARD! "I was extremely honored to have received one of the R.A.H Awards this year! I truly look up to those who have received this award in the past, and to be among those names is something I am very proud of. My career path has looked different than the status quo, but I feel this has given me a platform to share with others that it is never too late to switch things up and go after what you want to achieve."
