Professional Development To provide our members with professional development and civic engagement opportunities, we host a variety of enrichment activities. To prepare for the election, the Associated Students at Mizzou taught members how to vote. Additionally, Delta Xi hosted personal budgeting, résumé help, and LinkedIn workshops. Our executive board had the opportunity to attend numerous conferences, including the Collegiate Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas, and Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values Conference in Indiana. Vice President of Chapter Development and Programming Kennedy Mueller '21 said, "I am proud to be part of a chapter that supports its members and inspires them to become the best versions of themselves in all areas of life." Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards We're lucky to have strong leaders both within our chapter and on campus. During the University of Missouri's Fraternity and Sorority Life awards, Tri Delta was recognized with Excellence in Member Development for our strong dedication to providing academic, professional, and wellness opportunities for our members. Former CCP Hannah Dejonge '20 was presented with the Chapter President of the Year Award across all Greek organizations on campus. Representing Tri Delta on Campus In addition to Hannah, we have numerous members who have received awards or serve in leadership positions. Kyla McClintic '21 is president of the Mizzou Pre-Dental Club, Vy Vu '22 is president of the Vietnamese Student Association, Brooklyn Greaser '22 earned the Integrated Marketing Concepts Meyer Award, and Jayme Opdahl '21 is stepping into her role as University of Missouri Investment Group president. Jayme was a recipient of the Trulaske College of Business Tru20 Tigers Award for her impact on the university. Bree Nieder '22 serves as philanthropy chairman for ATB, which promotes women in business. Last spring, Allie Byergo '23 was recognized as one of the top 14 freshmen at Mizzou by Omicron Delta Kappa, a secret leadership honor society. This award honors freshmen who have distinguished themselves among their peers in extracurriculars, academics, and involvement. She said, "Being a part of Tri Delta has undoubtedly been my most impactful involvement throughout my time at Mizzou. It has led me to my lifelong best friends, amazing big sisters to look up to, and little sisters to take under my wing. It has also given me leadership and campus involvement that have shaped me into the person I am today." Thank You, Alumnae and Parents Our alumnae and parents play a critical role in our success. We kicked off the semester with Dad's Weekend and cheered on the Tigers to victory against Vanderbilt. This is the pilot year of our Tri Delta's Parent Club. They have begun planning additional ways to support our members such as GPA celebrations, chapter treats, and more. During initiation, nearly 20 legacies were surprised with guest appearances from their Tri Delta family members. Delta Xi is excited and thankful to have the involvement of parents and alumnae! Thank you for your lasting loyalty to Delta Xi.
