MAKE YOUR GIFT SCAN ME The Delta Penn PENNSYLVANIA DELTA CHAPTER OF SIGMA PHI EPSILON AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA ESTABLISHED 1904 | FIRST UNDERGRADUATE EDITOR — STUART R. TROTTMANN JR. '39 FALL 2024 FOUNDATION BOARD REPORT A New Chapter for The Delta Penn PRESERVING TRADITION As you dive into this new edition of The Delta Penn, we want to take a moment to reflect on how far we've come since our very first issue. Stuart Trottman '39, our founding editor, laid the foundation for what has become a beloved tradition that connects all Pennsylvania Delta Chapter alumni. While the times and technology have certainly changed, our commitment to keeping you informed remains as strong as ever. EMBRACING PROGRESS This year, we turned another page in our chapter's history with a significant change; we have hired Pennington & Company to be our new provider for alumni newsletter, donation, and database management services. This change will reduce our annual expenses by over $5,000, allowing us to better allocate resources to support the fraternity. While we have been with our previous vendor for over 25 years and they have served us well, their costs have increased year after year, and it no longer made sense financially to continue with them. We expect no major differences in quality of service and look forward to this new partnership! CHECK OUT OUR NEW WEBSITE! To keep you in the loop, we encourage you to stay connected through our monthly email blasts and ensure your information is up to date. You can easily do so via our newly updated website: penn.sigep.org. There, you'll find 24 years of The Delta Penn archives, important alumni and chapter news, and links to update your contact details or help us locate lost brothers. CATCH UP WITH THE UNDERGRADUATES We continue to be immensely proud of the young men representing our PA Delta Chapter. Their involvement on campus reflects the values of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and we are excited for you to read their updates on page 4. UPDATE ON HOMECOMING 2024 Unfortunately we will not be hosting an event during this year's homecoming. The University has banned parties during this time. You can read more about it in the Daily Pennsylvanian online: thedp.com/ article/2024/10/ofsl-registration-daytime- events-homecoming-penn. If you have any questions or feedback regarding our recent changes, feel free to reach out. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
