OUR VISION FOR MISSISSIPPI ALPHA
In our chapter's long history, we have
called four different houses our home.
In 1999 with the help of Pennington &
Company, generous alumni donated
their treasure to build our current home
at 304 Fraternity Row. In the 25 years
since, the house corporation and loyal
alumni have funded important updates
to ensure the chapter continues to
thrive.
To remain a top-tier fraternity among
our competition, our home requires
a capital investment to fuel a needed
major renovation and expansion.
The house corporation has hired
a comprehensive team to make
this vision a reality. Working with
WBA Architecture out of Jackson,
Mississippi, and Montgomery Martin
contracting, the Memphis-based firm
who built our current house and has
Phi Delt connections, we will maximize
our space and expand our footprint to
27,650 square feet.
"This project remedies
problems we have faced
since the 1996 fire. We
are building a modern
version of the previous
house, and that's a huge
piece to mend that break.
We are creating that
sense of community by
adding more living space."
–Jay Cooke '82, House
Corporation President
