THE ROAD TO 150 YEARS
When you think back to receiving your bid to join Mississippi Alpha Chapter
of Phi Delta Theta, what was your reaction? How did you feel stepping inside
the chapter house for the first time? Who was the first brother you met? How
different were you when you graduated from when you arrived on campus?
For nearly 150 years, Mississippi Alpha has proudly graced the Ole Miss
campus. Since our founding in 1877, thousands of distinguished men have had
the privilege of calling themselves Phi Delts. Our alumni have gone on to be
leaders, scholars, athletes, and community servants to Mississippi and beyond.
Our transformative time at the Phi Delt house is where lifelong friendships were
forged and we were pushed by brothers to be better men. While fraternity life
at Ole Miss may be bigger than ever and look a little different one thing remains
the same: Phi Delta Theta's vision of young men becoming the best versions of
themselves.
Now more than ever, fraternities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of
young men. Our investment in Mississippi Alpha now will ensure a stronger and
brighter future for our brotherhood. As we prepare to celebrate 150 years of Phi
Delt at Ole Miss, we ask all alumni to join this campaign.
