Raise Your Bar: A Strategic Plan for Every SigEp We are excited to unveil a new vision for Sigma Phi Epsilon: Raise Your Bar, our strategic plan that sets a bold vision for Sigma Phi Epsilon. This initiative is designed for every SigEp and invites every member—undergraduates, alumni, parents, and donors—to unite in our mission of Building Balanced Men. Within the plan is a call to action: to reclaim our title as the largest and best Fraternity on every campus we plant the SigEp flag. Through increased volunteer support and financial investment at Washington Alpha, we will create vital development opportunities that foster growth for future generations. The plan challenges us to meet the needs of this and future generations of young men with development opportunities essential to success. This collective effort will strengthen our brotherhood and create lasting leadership and personal growth opportunities like never before. Let's work hand in hand to elevate our Fraternity to new heights and inspire future generations to carry the SigEp legacy forward. Your commitment and involvement at Washington Alpha are essential to this mission! Brothers of MC '24 stand in front of their new home on Bid Day. What is your impression of Washington Alpha Chapter? I've had a great time thus far! The undergraduates are welcoming and hospitable, and when it came time to get work done, everyone is willing to pitch in and help. How will the new "Raise Your Bar" strategic plan enhance SigEp? I believe the strategic plan will allow Sigma Phi Epsilon to redefine what the Fraternity experience is. By emphasizing the need for increased financial investment from undergraduates, paired with reengaging our alumni base to mentor these undergraduates, we can provide an impactful and entertaining collegiate experience for all our members, ultimately leading to growth across all SigEp Chapters. Tell us about yourself! I'm originally from Akron, Ohio, and I attended my undergraduate years at The Ohio State University. I was highly involved in philanthropy and service while I was on campus, leading food drives and fundraising events for local Columbus volunteer groups. In my free time, I love to play volleyball and guitar, and I've recently gotten back into running. Is there anything you'd like to share with our alumni? I'm so fortunate to be able to work with Washington Alpha Chapter this year, and I'm ready to help the undergraduates and alumni in any way I can. I'm always open if anyone would like to chat about Washington Alpha, SigEp, or anything in general, so feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to chat by email at daniel.bordenkircher@sigep.net or by phone at (804) 910-1382.
