P H I K A P PA TAU 2 T he brothers of Alpha Chi are working diligently to enhance both our chapter and the university. This year, the chapter transitioned off campus while we eagerly await the construction of our new chapter house. Through these changes, we were thrilled to welcome 11 new associate members in 2024. Undergraduate Philanthropy Chairman Jackson James '23 worked alongside Board of Governors Philanthropy Chairman Tim Little '17 to organize one of our chapter's biggest philanthropy events yet—a Suicide Awareness Walk in honor of our fallen brother, Max Pennebaker '22. Through generous donations from other organizations as well as local businesses, the event raised over $5,000 for the Max Pennebaker Memorial Scholarship. In September, undergraduates and alumni gathered for the 10th anniversary of our recolonization. We hosted a ceremony in Fowlkes Auditorium, including a presentation of our chapter's history and the good memories along the way. Following the ceremony, we kept the celebrations going with an MSU vs. Arizona State watch party. Additionally, Tanner Payne '23 and I were appointed as the director and the counselor trainer, respectively, on the executive board of New Maroon Camp, one of Mississippi State's most prestigious student organizations.
