D
elta Sigma had an outstanding spring
2024 and start to fall 2024, excelling
in philanthropy, athletics, and academics! Our
efforts kicked off with a victory in Derby Days,
where we partnered with Sigma Chi to raise
funds for Huntsman Cancer Research. We also
teamed up with Phi Gamma Delta to win the
Greek Olympics, which is a testament to our
teamwork and competitive spirit.
Our commitment to service earned us the Dean
Patchin Greek Award for Community and
Campus Involvement, a significant recognition
of contributions both on and off campus. In
collaboration with Sigma Phi Epsilon, we also
triumphed in Safari Days! We captured titles
in the Panhellenic Pickleball Tournament and
Sigma Nu Volleyball Tournament, and in the
arena of performing arts, the chapter secured
second place in the Varsity Review.
As the fall semester progresses, Delta Sigma
is stronger than ever with 218 on-campus
members. We successfully pledged 58 members
during recruitment, all meeting a minimum
GPA requirement of 3.4, underscoring our
commitment to academic excellence. We also
learned our spring overall GPA of 3.57 ranked
us fifth, just .06 points shy of the top spot! We
are doing Freshman Follies with the men of Phi
Delta Theta and Homecoming with the Men of
Phi Gamma Delta.
With a proven track record of success and
growth, Delta Sigma is poised for even greater
achievements in the future. Thank you for
supporting our sisterhood as we continue to
excel at Oklahoma State!
