3 BETA THETA PI AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC SUCCESS We had a 3.24 semester and a 3.32 cumulative GPA—both well above IFC and undergraduate averages. Continued studies and the pursuit of the cultivation of intellect have helped Beta Mu achieve our academic goals. ATHLETIC ACTIVITY Beta Mu put together teams for every major sport in the spring, contending for championships in each. is fall, we look to win championships in football, soccer, volleyball, and more! Our Greek Basketball Association team is competing hard, as they are mid-season. Brother Matthew Soyka '27 helped start the Greek Golf Association here at Purdue in its first season, and we have several members competing in that as well. BETA EVENTS Last year, Buzz-a-Beta helped us raise more than $70,000 for the Purdue Center for Cancer Research. is fall, we look to surpass that number, as brothers are passionate in their want to give to others. We are looking to bring other events to our Chapter in an effort to increase our philanthropic efforts! Vice President of Brotherhood Michael Setiawan '25 helped to organize events for brothers to strengthen their bonds. As we returned to campus, he set up the Back to Beta Cookout. Here, brothers enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, and cornhole while catching up on our summers. Beta Mu Chapter is hot in the pursuit for excellence this academic year. We are excited to achieve our goals, and even surpass them. ankfully, Beta Mu cultivates great leaders that will guide the Chapter well. We thank you all for your continued support of the Chapter, and we wish you the absolute best in your endeavors.
