Alpha Tau Omega 3 W hat a memorable and exciting year for Delta Kappa! Our chapter has been recognized for its significant contributions across academics, philanthropy, and campus involvement as well as its remarkable achievements in community service and leadership. Delta Kappa has consistently demonstrated excellence, earning us the prestigious True Merit Award. This accolade highlights our commitment to upholding our ATΩ values and contributing positively to the wider community. One of our standout philanthropy events is the annual Gatorfest. This event draws participants from across campus and the local community, raising awareness and funds for various charitable causes. Other philanthropy endeavors include Cuts for Cancer (fundraising through haircuts) and our blood drive. Supporting mental health awareness is also a key focus for us, with donations made to the Jed Foundation, a nonprofit to protect emotional health and prevent suicide among teens and young adults. This partnership underscores our dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of others. Academically, our members are known for their leadership and involvement in OU organizations like the JCPenney Leadership Program, which fosters professional development and leadership skills. Through this program, members gain essential tools for success in both their academic and future professional careers. One Delta Kappa member who benefited from this group is Caden Sayers '22: "I am grateful for ATΩ and all the support I have gained through my years with Delta Kappa. This support led me to academic success and helped me land my dream job with Mewbourne Oil Company. I loved being pushed by my brothers and am excited to see our hard work pay off." We are excited for Caden and all our members who have amazing opportunities ahead. Overall, we have embodied the spirit of service, leadership, and academic excellence, making a lasting impact on our campus and beyond through well-rounded contributions and achievements.
