DELTA TAU DELTA PAGE 3 T his summer, five Delta Chi undergraduates had the chance to attend the biannual Karnea conference in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a great opportunity to represent our chapter and meet brothers from chapters across the country. We learned a lot about leadership, fraternity operations, and personal growth through workshops and discussions. We're excited to bring these ideas back to our chapter. On top of that, we enjoyed exploring the city of Cleveland and its sights. Overall, the experience was both educational and fun, and it helped us grow closer as brothers. CHAPTER GROWTH We're thrilled to kick off this semester with the addition of 28 members! The energy and excitement around all we have planned are contagious. We've already hosted a formal dinner with the new head basketball coach, Steve Lutz, along with some of his players. It was an honor to welcome them to our Shelter, hear their stories, and show them what Delta Chi is all about. FALL FESTIVITIES Football season has been nothing short of spectacular. We've hosted two alumni tailgates, both of which were huge successes. With our tailgate trailer and famous Delt smoker, our setup has been top-notch. It's been fantastic seeing undergraduates and alumni come together to share in the pregame festivities. If you can, we'd love for you to stop by before upcoming games! Homecoming preparations are well underway, and we've had an amazing start. Pomping is coming along nicely, and the outdoor crew is hard at work assembling the structure. Mark your calendars—Walkaround is set for November 1! Be sure to visit the Shelter, check out the deck, and explore the vendors we'll have in the parking lot. We are paired with Phi Mu for Freshman Follies this semester. The cast works hard every week to perfect the show and give their best effort. We are looking forward to show week and strive to bring home hardware this year! Earlier this semester, we teamed up with ADPI to host a back-to-school bash. We had a blast celebrating the start of the year with a water slide in the parking lot, football on the big screen, and plenty of hamburgers and hot dogs from our smoker. We hope to make this an annual tradition. We've had a strong start to the semester and are committed to keeping the momentum going. Thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at upcoming events!
