Notably, the annual Kappa Klassic event brought together students, community members, and Kappa dads for a spirited day of golf while raising substantial funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We collaborated with Alpha Tau Omega to organize a Frio's Popsicle Fundraiser after chapter in September for Suicide Prevention Month. This refreshing and community-centered initiative not only provided a cool treat to members but also contributed to the chapter's philanthropic goals. Looking ahead, Delta Psi is excited about the upcoming Two-Steppin' Tuesday event, scheduled for October in collaboration with Phi Delta Theta. This event promises to be another opportunity to support The JED Foundation and foster community spirit among Greek organizations. Last year's event raised $10,000! Our outstanding efforts have earned Delta Psi Kappas the prestigious 2024 CMN Impact Award. This award, given to only one program in the United States, recognizes the chapter's exceptional dedication and accomplishments in supporting the children at UMC Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network. Over the past 27 years, Delta Psi Chapter has raised over $435,000 for CMN. Our chapter also received Philanthropy and Civic Engagement Program of the Year (2023) from the FSL program at Texas Tech University. These awards reflect our passion for the power of philanthropy and our commitment to making this world a better place for our families, our sisters, and those in need.
