DELTA PSI NEWS
Kappa Kappa Gamma • Texas Tech University
Fall 2024
Thank you to our house board trustees for actively taking such
loving care of our lodge.
• This spring and summer, Dani Kaplan Diaz De Tuesta '97 and Lindley Douglass
Herring '98 inventoried the entire lodge, which was quite an undertaking.
• Dani and Amy Rohrer '12 are working with the chapter to improve the use of the
space. We moved into the lodge nearly 10 years ago, and the way chapter members
use the space differs from what we originally envisioned. They need study space
that works better for team studying instead of just solo studying.
• Dani and Amy are gathering all the input and will recommend updates to furniture
and décor. We will need to repaint the lodge interior during this next year.
• Ali Hamilton '08 worked hard before recruitment to ensure our landscaping was
beautiful for the recruitment parties.
• We updated our security with newer card-access terminals for chapter member and
alumnae access.
I also want to commend our chapter members who are proud of our lodge and work hard
to keep it clean and presentable.
To any of our Delta Psi alumnae who are planning to come to Lubbock, please contact
me at dvloehr@hotmail.com so I can arrange a tour of the lodge for you. Please send
any updates on your contact information to me as well so we can continue to keep you
updated on our chapter, alumnae, and house board activities.
