Aggie Arrow PAGE 4 Celebrating the Progress of Texas Eta Member Class 2021 during their final preference round. T exas Eta Chapter had a rewarding spring semester and exceptional start to fall. The women of Pi Phi continuously commit themselves to academic excellence, service to our local and national philanthropies and promoting Sincere Friendship at Texas A&M University. Serving and leading the women of this chapter has been a privilege. I am reminded daily and shown how exceptional our women are. P H I L A N T H R O P Y E F F O R T S This spring, Texas Eta contributed significant effort and donations to our local and national philanthropies. We hosted Dodge the Arrow, where we invite fraternities/sororities and other campus organizations to compete in a dodgeball tournament, and raised more than $10,000 from the competing teams and spectators. Our chapter donated these funds to Boys and Girls Club and to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation. Our members also logged more than 1,600 service hours. My heart swells with pride to see these statistics and witness the effort that Texas Eta women put into impacting the lives of community members. Our chapter is truly making a profound impact on the Bryan-College Station area and beyond. September was Read > Lead > Achieve ® Month for Pi Beta Phi. We dedicated our time and energy to positively impacting the literacy rate in our community. C L A S S R O O M S U C C E S S Pi Phi continues to stand for academic excellence. We pride ourselves on maintaining an environment that promotes and fosters educational success. We are proud to announce that our chapter's cumulative GPA was 3.54, with more than 100 members earning a 4.0. Texas Eta continues to be an example at Texas A&M for high scholarship, dedication and hard work. G R O W I N G P I P H I Having the opportunity to lead this chapter has been so rewarding. I was able to see this during fall 2024 recruitment. We welcomed Potential New Members into our home and demonstrated philanthropic spirit and genuine sisterhood. We are overjoyed to announce that 94 members of New Member Class 2024 ran home to Pi Beta Phi on Bid Day! I cannot adequately explain how appreciative the recruitment team and I are for snack donations and support we received from our alumnae. We hope you all can share in our celebration for another successful recruitment and amazing New Member Class. Both were made possible by your continued support! I hope you take great pride in the success of the Texas Eta Chapter. We cannot wait to see what academic achievements, service opportunities and new friendships this school year will bring! We strive to continue a legacy of selfless, empowering, genuine and intellectual female leaders that alumnae can look fondly upon. It is an honor to update you on all the success our chapter has recently enjoyed. In Pi Phi, Natalie Houser '22, Chapter President M E M B E R S H I P G R O W T H A N D R E C E N T A C T I V I T Y
