rom service opportunities to social connections and networking, Theta Xi membership
has been an eye-opening experience for Joseph Traskaski '26. Joey continues to develop
through Alpha Sigma Chapter while double majoring in business management and marketing.
Personal Growth
Joey was compelled to join by the brothers who made Bradley University feel like more than
just a college campus. He quickly began building strong bonds with undergraduates and alumni
who inspire him to pursue leadership opportunities like treasurer and philanthropy chairman.
"Having my own business, I knew about finances and was familiar with common business
programs," Joey said. The treasurer role has been a natural fit while also showing Joey the
importance of listening to others' perspectives. "This has taught me to not just think about
things from your point of view but understand other people and how you can help them."
Fraternal Bonds
Theta Xi connections have helped Joey become more social and responsible, and he credits
prior Treasurer Eric Winkelman '23, alongside Craig Janus '00, Allen McClean '22, and
Jeremy Oliphant '23, for their remarkable guidance. "They have made this experience more
about the fraternity, brotherhood, and true connections that can be made during four years at
Bradley University."
Joey appreciates the active alumni base working alongside undergraduates to foster a strong
brotherhood at Bradley. Through Theta Xi, he feels more prepared than ever to pursue work in
the supply chain industry and continue building his own business with hopes to retire by age 35.
