WHERE BROTHERHOOD BEGINS Nu Chapter's 138th pledge class of 31 young men is the result of an intensive year of recruiting efforts by the Rush Chairmen in collaboration with the entire active chapter. A special thanks goes out to father and son Marc and Truman Westhoff. As a former Rush Chairman and current House Corporation Board Member, Marc '91, Nu 1849 volunteered to provide alumni guidance to the recruitment program while his son, Truman '23, Nu 2591, served as a Rush Chairman. Together with the other recruitment officers, they built a pledge class of exceptional academic achievement, talent, character, and diversity. The future is golden on Sigma Nu Place. Why We Pledged NU CHAPTER IS WORTHY OF YOUR INVESTMENT "When I was asked to take part in the Stubbs Mansion renovation campaign, I didn't hesitate to commit my resources. For me it was simple … I would not be who I am today had it not been for Nu Chapter of Sigma Nu. The experiences I had and the relationships I made have impacted my life in a profound way. Our chapter is thriving right now, and it's only getting better. Through my involvement in the recruitment process, I know that there were many very qualified young men lining up around the block in hopes of receiving a pledge card. Nu Chapter alumni can pledge to this campaign with confidence knowing that our chapter and our beloved chapter home are worthy of your investment." Marc Westhoff Nu 1849 Originally from Great Bend, Kansas, Marc Westhoff served as Rush Chairman and graduated in 1993 with a degree in economics. He and his family live in Hutchinson, where he has been a business owner for 25 years. "Joining Sigma Nu has been a journey filled with unforgettable friendships and memories. When I first stepped into Stubbs Mansion, I was welcomed into a tight-knit community of brothers who quickly became my family. Spending late nights in the racks, laughing uncontrollably with each other, cheering on our intramural and Rock Chalk Revue teams, or working together for a worthy cause, every moment spent with my Sigma Nu brothers has been an absolute blast. I was proud to be one of several Rush Chairmen to represent Sigma Nu to the community of high school seniors seeking fraternity affiliation. With our history and traditions, our amazing chapter home, and our brotherhood culture, Nu Chapter attracts the very best. The renovations and improvements that are already underway will sustain our momentum for years to come." Truman Westhoff Nu 2591 Truman Westhoff is a junior majoring in business and marketing. He currently serves as Alumni Chairman. K U S I G M A N U . O R G
