Kappa Alpha received a Certificate of Advancement Award. You would think after 13 years of being an advisor, I would get bored of these conventions. I find that they just further my love for this organization. My sisters from across the U.S. continue to support and amaze me. I'm so proud of our Chapter and how far we have come. A huge shoutout to Gayle Spencer, Omicron '79 (who was my advisor), who taught me everything about how to be an advisor. Another shoutout to Claire Gassel '22, who came with me to Convention. This girl is one of my favorite people and I know she will continue to do great things. I'm forever grateful to Chi Omega Fraternity. I got a picture with our Kansas chapters: KU, UMKC, Emporia State, and Kansas State. Also, I met a Kansas State PIKE alumnus who serves on their National Board. KSU was well represented! I t has been an honor serving as the House Corporation Board president despite the challenges Mother Nature brought upon us. I am proud of the resilience and dedication of our sisterhood at 1516 McCain Lane. Together, we have overcome the storm(s) and can now proudly showcase our beautiful house. I encourage you to visit when you are in town and to mark your calendar for our upcoming reunion. One of the projects related to the storm restoration involved the restoration of our composites. We successfully restored 55 composites, 18 of which have been framed and displayed throughout the house. During this process, we discovered that some years are missing from our collection. If you have a smaller (11 x 14) composite from any of the following missing years, please contact me at xoka1975@gmail.com. Composite missing years: All older than 1959 and 1960, 1961, 1965, 1967, 1970, 1974, 1975, and 1989. Thank you for your continued support and dedication.
